This is the semifinal in my big-money league. I've got to get this decision right. I have used the Ravens most of the year, and the Pats when they had easy matchups. Now I can add the Texans and start them against the Rams, who are the WORST offense vs. fantasy Ds. That worked great for me last week in my other money league, where I added the Titans vs. the Rams and raked in 27 points.
Ravens v Bears (14th against fantasy Ds, 7.1 ppg for the Ds) Pats at Bills (8th, 9.8) Texans at Rams (1st, 14.2 ppg)

| The Pats aren't a bad play this week, but I'd take the Texans over them if given the opportunity |

| I went to nfl.com, cbs, espn, yahoo and si.com for rankings. I was surprised that the Ravens went 5-1-1-4-6-1 and the Texans 6-16-8-5-8-5. Why do so many sites rank the Ravens as the best D for this week? |

| The Ravens' game has been pushed back to 4:15 because of expected heavy snowfall. Does that forecast increase the chances of the Ravens D scoring big? |

And now this on the Rams offense from rotoworld: Steven Jackson, already on the Week 15 injury report with lingering back spasms, missed practice Friday with what Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo termed "flu-like symptoms."
Spags wouldn't confirm if S-Jax caught the swine flu that forced St. Louis to cancel all of its Thursday practice drills, but Jackson's chances of playing Sunday just took a big hit. Starting QB Kyle Boller definitely has H1N1, and No. 2 wideout Brandon Gibson missed Friday's practice with an "illness." It's hard to imagine the Rams moving the ball successfully against Houston. |

I don't get it. He plays for the Lions. Neither of my Ds is playing against him. |

| I have Houston in one league. Would you play them over Philly (vs. SF)? The Eagles have been a terrific defense, especially since we get credit for return TDs. |

Hey, get your own thread!
ESPN has the Eagles 2 spots ahead of the Texans, and Yahoo has them 1 spot ahead, but I like the Texans better. Just look at the game by game results of the Ds that go against the Rams.
Now, back to my problem: What do you think? |

Sorry, I was reading through the thread and thought there was consensus that the Texans were a better bet than the Ravens. That was my inclination, although I suppose a blizzard in Baltimore might change that (how many INTs will Cutler throw?).
Right now, I like the Texans.
