Well, I was finally able to set aside some time to attend a mock live instead of relying on my rankings. There were several in attendance, and here are the results from the 9-spot in a 12-team PPR:

RB Frank Gore 9 SF R1 P9
WR Roddy White 8 ATL R2 P4
WR Sidney Rice 4 MIN R3 P9
QB Tony Romo 4 DAL R4 P4 - sweet!
RB Ronnie Brown 5 MIA R5 P9 - sweet!
WR Hines Ward 5 PIT R6 P4
TE Chris Cooley 9 WAS R7 P9
RB Justin Forsett 5 SEA R8 P4
RB Cadillac Williams 4 TB R9 P9
WR Jabar Gaffney 9 DEN R10 P4
QB Matthew Stafford 7 DET R11 P9
DEF Baltimore Ravens 8 BAL R12 P4
WR Nate Washington 9 TEN R13 P9
K David Akers 8 PHI R14 P4

Notes:
- Roddy White - in hindsight, I may have taken and been happier with Miles Austin here, but he wasn’t on my screen of pre-draft rankings, yet. Although I really can't complain about this pick.
- Jabar Gaffney - may have gone a little early on him, but I like his chances to be their top receiver until the rookie makes the transition to the NFL
- Matthew Stafford - Could have had Big Ben here, but with Romo’s week 4 bye week … not an option. Again ... I am okay with this pick ... as my backup to Romo.
- Ravens D - Will Ed Reed’s absence make them less appealing?
- Nate Washington - considered many options at this pick: Arrelius Benn, Fred Davis, another RB due to Brown/Williams durability concerns, or even Heyward-Bey

So what do you think?

I like the Washington and Gaffney picks, would have preferred Austin. Good draft.

Is Ronnie Brown really dropped to the 5th round...most of the drafts I've been in have seen him go early to mid 4th. I'd be happy with him in the 5th due to upside potential.

I like the Washington pick also, and I agree with White over Austin. I'm fearful that Dez Bryant could impact Austin's looks.

Phoenix=Hades North...but it's a dry heat.

I love this team. I definitely would have taken Austin over White, but they're #4 and #6 on my board, so it's not a big deal. I particularly like Forsett and Caddy back-to-back in the middle rounds. Those guys and M Bush and Portis have been available there, and I love the upside and value. I like Cooley, but I've found that he can be taken around RD10 as the 11th or 12th TE taken. In fact, I'm thinking of waiting until then and nabbing him, then coming back the next round and getting one of the Millers or Carlson, just in case Cooley gives up too much time to Davis.

Doubt Zach Miller is there but who knows. Carlson is a guy to watch this year. Heard that he isnt going to be blocking as much up in Seattle.

I like the team overall:
- I'm in the White over Austin camp (yes, I flip flopped). Wouldn't be suprised if Miles still outperformed him, but White has showed impressive consistency that I think warrants the higher pick (and has less competition than Miles). I also think Ryan has a better season this year;
- Steals galore - Gore, Rice, Romo, Brown, Ravens all seem like they were taken later than normal (love where you got them). Not sure if they would still be there in real drafts.
- Agreed with Webo, love the Caddy and Forsett picks where you got them. Both could play prominent roles and that's great RB depth to have!
- I'm not touching Cooley that early coming off injury and sharing catches with Davis. Ageed with Webo, I'd rather have the Millers a few rounds later. Of course if Cooley is still there late and can be had as a backup, I might take him or Davis in deeper leagues.
- Was Devin Thomas still available instead of Washington (some WR has to catch balls in Was, won't just be Moss), or one of the Bears WR's (Knox, Aroshomadu, Hester)? Those are guys I would have picked instead. Also the pick somewhat depends on how Britt is doing - if he is banged up, then I really like the Washington pick. Otherwise as a #5 WR, seems fine to me - nate was pretty good in red zone last year at least.
- Not sure about Ravens D. They still have a lot of playmakers, and the good thing is that its a mix of young and old. They are still a #1 defense in my book, but not dominating as in years past.
- I'd rather have Big Ben, but don't have qualms with taking Stafford. Stafford's right after Big Ben and Henne on list of #2 QB's I'm seeking.

The TEs were getting thin when I selected Cooley, and I had others (like the ones you've mentioned) under consideration. I guess I am less threatened by the presence of Davis, like the way McNabb and Shanahan use the TEs, feel like Cooley could be the "other guy" besides Moss in WAS, and less enamored with Zach Miller (cause I think he was there, too). I appreciate the feedback, though ... it will cause me to do a deeper dive.

I like Aroshomadu, too ... I know he was gone. Hester may have been gone, too. I am kind of banking on Britt not stepping up as he could.

Overall, I was pretty happy with the results. More practice ... and need to do 14-teamers, so I can level set expectations. Cause I know I won't feel as good about the MrF Keeper team once the draft is complete!
