It went ridiculously fast (45-second turns, plus some guys were on AutoSelect) and I got stuck on AutoSelect a few times. But overall, pretty pleased, picking out of the 1 spot. I think it shows the depth at RB in the mid to late rounds. Portis in RD10? That's good value, in my estimation. My strategy after getting CJ was to basically fill out the 3 WRs and QB and then hammer the RBs (although I did squeeze in R Brown in RD5). Standard scoring.
Romo Big Ben
CJ R Brown M Bush Forsett Portis Ringer
Austin R White Ward Mason Knox
Celek
Prater

Solid team. A little shaky at RB2 but as long as you start the right RB you will be fine. Like the depth at WR.
I am a little concerned with Celek just because of Kolb but that could work out fine. For me I think I will pass on Celek this year or go TE shortly after Celek. Doubt I do that though as I only carry one at the position. |

Actually, that should help Celek, if anything. They hooked up big-time in the two games Kolb started: 16 catches, 208 yds, 1 TD. And the Eagles don't have a red-zone threat in the power running game or with their WRs, and Celek was second among TEs in targets inside the 10. Kolb and Celek also are roomies on the road, and you don't think Celek would be in Kolb's ear if he's not looking to him? |

| True, I will have to think about that a little more I guess. Celek can be had fairly cheap as can Miller, 3-4 rounds after Celek. I think Miller will put up same or better than Celek this year. |

Celek had 970 yds and 8 TDs last year. I see similar production this year, or certainly only a very modest dropoff. I can see Miller with the yards, but I'm not confident that he will score 8 times. I have him ranked 12th. He could be good value beyond RD10. |

I decided to adjust my strategy a bit out of the 1 spot, realizing that I was pretty lucky to have gotten Romo at the end of RD4 and probably won't get him or Schaub at that spot in the real draft. The problem is that when it came my turn at RD2-RD3, it was too early for good value on Romo and Schaub and Rivers. A WR was a definite with one of the two (and I took Fitz), but with Benson there, I took him instead of a QB. I'm starting to feel a bit better about Cutler from RD6-8, because Martz always cleans up and polishes his QBs. Your thoughts?
Cutler Big Ben
CJ Benson Jacobs F Jones Foster
Fitz S Smith (Caro) Ochocinco Floyd
Finley

I tried the reach-for-the-QB-at-3.1 stategy this time. I gave up just a bit at RB and WR, but I have the better QB. Not sure how this shakes out.
Romo Palmer
CJ Charles F Jones M Bush Forsett
Austin Ocho Nicks Meachem
Gonzo
Prater

I like this team better than the previous, prefer Nicks over Steve Smith. RBs are more solid too. |

Like all 3 teams...but favor this one by a slight edge:
I like the Cutler/Big Ben combo. Cutler has a great chance to put up BIG numbers in Martz's system. Ben provides some good insurance!
You could have 2 top 10 RB's there...Jacobs should be a decent fill in (like him much better as #3 instead of #2). Felix has huge upside and Foster could end up playing a big role.
Love Fitz and Steve Smith is a solid #2 (he's still going to get the ball in Carolina). 85 is a solid #3 and Floyd has upside depending on fate of VJax.
Like Finley for sure...guy I'd love to consistently get in say round 6 (but doubt in real drafts that will happen. |

| Thanks for the input, Rock. The 1 spot obviously gets you a stud RB, but it creates other problems because of 20-plus picks going off the board while you wait. So I've got to figure some things out, particularly the QB strategy. |
