It's getting to be that time of year again so we're going to need to iron out some details with the draft, keepers and anything else that comes up. We can post anything in this section of the forum.
Anyone got any ideas about the draft this year...location, start time, etc? |

I'm thinking a good date to start the draft could be Monday, August 23rd. How's that sound and keepers could be due a week in advance...August 16th.
It always takes time to get through our draft and get everything organized with that. |

I think we should have a little bit more time after Keeper Declaration and before the draft so that we can do trades. There were a ton of trades that went down last year before the draft. Maybe we do the Keeper declaration on the 16th and start the draft on the 30th?
That would still give us a 2 weeks of time before the NFL season starts to complete the draft, right? |

If I remember correctly, I was able to set up a Draft Only league on MyFantasyLeague.com for a small fee (i.e. - $25) and split the cost with Tim. It worked out fairly well ... again, if my recall is in tact. Trades were a little difficult to keep pace with as we got closer to the draft ... for me running the commissioner role during the draft.
I am open to alternatives, though, and I do not have a league at MFL anymore, either. Or wait ... was it at MockDraftCentral.com that we did it? |

I'll volunteer to pay for the draft if someone else will run it. My first day of school is 8-23 and I'll be buried up to my eyeballs with football. I have an Iphone now so I won't have any problems drafting, but I'll have a tough time keeping track of everything that needs to be organized. |
