10 Players Whose Values Increase Based Solely on the 2011 Schedule
|
- Matt Schaub, Texans, QB. Defensively, AFC South rivals Indianapolis and Jacksonville aren't nearly what they used to be.
- Matthew Stafford, Lions, QB. The Lions face the second-toughest collection of defenses to run against, so that means more throwing.
- Rashard Mendenhall, Steelers, RB. The Steelers are this year's Chiefs - no team faces a more fantasy-friendly schedule.
- Felix Jones, Cowboys, RB. Only the Steelers encounter an easier set of teams to run against.
- Steven Jackson, Rams, RB. As the Rams improve, they'll run more and more against a schedule that struggles to stop the run.
- Tim Hightower, Redskins, RB. The Redskins' NFC East competition is heading seriously downhill in terms of defense.
- Knowshon Moreno, Broncos, RB. A new, defensive-minded coach can afford to play it conservatively against a bunch of opponents who have trouble stopping the run.
- A.J. Green, Bengals, WR. Bad teams have to throw a lot, and fortunately for the Bengals, their opponents aren't real strong at stopping the pass.
- Jermichael Finley, Packers, TE. Only the Steelers get a softer collection of defenses to throw against.
- Panthers defense. Carolina's opponents as a whole struggle to stop the run, which will help this bad team keep the clock rolling and focus on defense.
